Atlantic Canada Baseball Prospects to participate at international tournament in Orlando, Florida
ATTN: Prospects Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI Baseball Parents, Coaches, Scouts.
The intent of this email is to notify you that PEI Prospects are
beginning the process of selecting seven Atlantic baseball teams (8U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U and 16U) to represent Atlantic Canada at Disney World Salute to Baseball tournament ESPN Centre
2015, Orlando Florida.
All Atlantic Canada Teams
have been registered
for the following weeks:
Week 1- June 28-July 4, 2015 (

Week 2 - July 5-11, 2015 (

Our mission is to
build competitive teams to represent the Atlantic Provinces by selecting the top 12-
15 players
and coaches per division from Atlantic Canada.
Regional tryouts
will be held by PEI Prospects and
ran by assigned coaches.
Our goal is to provide
an experience of a lifetime for
everyone involved (teams/parents). The planning
has started now and will continue throughout the year. We will communicate through email and compile scouting reports on players and select a final roster.
Tryouts will be held in June-July 2014 and the teams will be selected by August 20st 2014. Team practices will then be coordinated throughout the winter and spring months. Teams, if they choose to can fundraise to minimize individual costs.
Team Registration Includes:
5-game guarantee on major league quality fields. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is home to Atlanta Braves Spring Training and has hosted two Tampa Bay Rays regular season series as well as the opening round of the 2006 World Baseball Classic!
· Awards for six teams out of each division
· Fundraising Solutions like the Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car fundraising programs and ESPN Coaches Fundraising Program
· Two (2) umpires per game
· Presence of athletic trainers, provided by South Lake Hospital, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
· Public address announcers and scorekeepers for each game
· Water fountains or ice water in each dugout
· Game balls for each game
