Known as the Charlie Bourgeois Hockey School Goaltending Program until 2011. The Atlantic Goaltending Academy was established in 2012. Goaltenders from across the Atlantic Provinces, Québec, Ontario and the United States keep receiving quality goaltending programs year after year since the summer of 2000. More than 200 goalies from the Atlantic Canadian Provinces participated in our summer programs in 2013, making AGA the largest goaltending school in the Atlantic Provinces.
The Atlantic Goaltending Academy is fortunate to be part of the Atlantic Hockey Group's Spring Hockey programs. Every Spring, AGA instructors work with AHG to offer goalie clinics to more than 400 goaltenders from the Novice to Bantam level. With such an exposure to young goaltenders, AGA has built a solid reputation of bringing young goaltenders to the NEXT LEVEL.
Head Instructors, Louis Guay, Jim Fleming and Dave Kennedy have over 60 years of Elite Goaltending development experience between them. From Memorial Cup championships and Fred Page cup winners to Atlantic Championships and Telus Cup championships our staff has worked with some of the most successful Hockey Programs in Canada, including : Athol Murray College(Notre Dame Hounds), Saint John Sea Dogs( QMJHL ) and Woodstock Subway Slammers( MHL ).
Our commitment to continuity during the winter seasons has grown to AGA offering weekly , bi-weekly goaltending clinics to 8 minor hockey associations in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. AGA is committed to year round work with goaltenders of all age and levels!
